Civic
Empower young voters + get free food
Visit projectCivic turns everyday civic participation into a rewarding habit for college students who want to stay engaged but rarely see the impact of small actions.
Voting, volunteering, and local advocacy feel disconnected from daily life. Students care, but there's no visible loop between doing something civic and seeing it matter. Engagement apps that do exist are either partisan or forgettable.
What it does:
Act: complete a civic action, from voting to attending a town hall to volunteering
Verify: submit proof; AI checks it against the claimed action
Earn: verified actions convert to credits
Redeem: credits unlock real rewards, keeping the loop tangible
Track: a running record of civic history over a college career
Why I built it: Civic engagement shouldn't require idealism alone to sustain itself. Civic makes participation self-reinforcing by closing the gap between doing good and feeling it.
